What to do
Clean it out and check the water supply. On a bypass humidifier, move the damper.
Why it matters
A humidifier left running into spring adds moisture the house no longer needs, which is how you get condensation in a season that should not have any.
Where this comes from
Habitat Studio p.26 and CMHC CE 47, which puts the shutdown in spring and the startup in fall. Retitled off "set the damper": a steam humidifier has no damper, and a task that names a part somebody does not have is one they learn to ignore.
