Clear debris from the shallow drainage channels and any culvert on the property.
Why it matters
A swale is a deliberate drainage path. Blocked, it sends water somewhere the lot was not designed to send it.
Where this comes from
Habitat Studio p.10 and CMHC CE 47. Do not permanently alter the flow — that creates a drainage problem the warranty will not cover.
